What we collect
- Device hash — a random identifier generated locally and stored in
localStorage. Used only as an anonymous key so users can manage the tags they themselves added. It is not derived from hardware and cannot identify a person.
- Publicly-shared Binance Square trading data — while you browse Binance Square (feed, post pages, profiles), the extension reads trade information that post authors have voluntarily made public on those pages — positions, orders, PNL, portfolio snapshots — and submits it to our backend so the database can aggregate these public records. This is the same information Binance displays to anyone who views those pages. We never access private data such as balances, unshared positions, emails, or payment info.
- Public author identifiers — the Binance Square public UID and display name shown alongside each public post, used only as the grouping key for the aggregated records above.
What we do NOT collect
- No data from pages outside
binance.com/square.
- No private account information, balances, private orders, emails, phone numbers, wallet addresses, or payment info.
- No personal browsing behavior. We do not track which pages you visit or link activity back to you personally.
- No analytics, no third-party trackers, no advertising identifiers.
How the data is used
The aggregated Binance Square dataset is shared back to other users of the extension, so everyone can see historical records of public posts — including posts the original author may have later deleted. All data was already public on Binance Square at the moment it was collected, and is presented only to extension users through the same analysis UI.
Where data goes
All network requests from the extension go to our own backend at https://square.hsliy.com. Data is never sold, and never shared with third parties outside of serving it back to extension users in aggregated form.
Data retention and deletion
- Aggregated Binance Square post data is retained until removal is requested.
- To request removal of specific records or your device hash, email us at the address below.
